INSTRUCTIONS:

Select the image you want as your MSN Icon and save it in your computer
Open a chat screen in MSN Messenger 
Click on the arrow near your actual display picture
Click on "Change Display Picture" 
Click "Browse" in the window that pops up 
Select the icon you just saved to your computer 
Click "OK" 
Than Click "OK" again
